SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Nick Madrigal and Yolmer Sánchez each drove in a pair of runs and the Salt Lake Bees outlasted Sacramento 7-4 Sunday in Pacific Coast League play to earn a split in the series against the River Cats.

Nicolo Pinazzi netted two strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.

Jake Holton homered in the loss for the River Cats.

Following Sunday’s results, the Bees improved to 14-19 and the River Cats fell to 17-14.

The Bees return to action Tuesday for a six-game series at Oklahoma City against the Comets.

Opening pitch is slated for 5:05 pm.
