Bees Down Sacramento Thursday

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Niko Kavadas drove in two runs and the Salt Lake Bees doubled up Sacramento 4-2 Thursday, snapping a five-game losing streak in Pacific Coast League play at The Ballpark at America First Square.

Caden Dana posted five strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.

Victor Bericoto drove in two runs in the loss for the  River Cats.

Following Thursday’s results, the Bees improved to 12-18 and the River Cats slumped to 16-12.

The squads return to action Friday at 6:35 pm for the fourth game in the series.
