Bees Down Rainiers In First Game of Series Tuesday

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Brandon Drury and Tucker Flint drove in two runs apiece and the Salt Lake Bees dismantled Tacoma 6-1 in the first game of the series Tuesday at The Ballpark at America First Square in Pacific Coast League play. Shaun Anderson posted two strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Samad Taylor drove in a run in the loss for the Rainiers. Following Tuesday’s results, the Bees improved to 61-77 and the Rainiers fell to 79-60. The squads return to action Wednesday at 7:05 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square for the second game in the series.
