SALT LAKE CITY-Trey Cabbage, Michael Stefanic, Taylor Jones and David Fletcher each drove in a run and the Salt Lake Bees doubled up Albuquerque 6-3 Friday at Smith’s Ballpark.
The win was the Bees’ fourth straight against the Isotopes and gave them the series victory.
Kenny Rosenberg posted 10 strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.
Rosenberg improved to 3-3 on the season for the Bees.
Hunter Stovall homered in the loss for the Isotopes, who fell to 22-33 on the season in defeat.
Salt Lake improved to 26-29 in victory.
The Bees and Isotopes return to action Saturday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
Pioneer League
BOISE, Idaho-Kole Kaler, Sean Skelly and Tyler Jorgensen each drove in a run and the Boise Hawks edged Ogden 3-2 Friday in Pioneer League play at Memorial Stadium.
Blake McFadden earned the win on the mound for the Hawks.
Cameron Phelts and Rafael Narea each drove in a run in defeat for the Raptors.
Boise took the Pioneer League South Division lead over the Raptors as the Hawks improved to 7-3 while Ogden fell to 6-4.
The Raptors and Hawks return to action Saturday at 7:05 pm at Memorial Stadium.
