SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Donovan Walton belted a grand slam and Christian Moore also homered as the Salt Lake Bees doubled up El Paso 10-5 Friday at The Ballpark at America First Square, securing at least a split in the series against the Chihuahuas.

Brady Choban netted a strikeout in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.

Nick Schnell homered in the loss for El Paso.

Following Friday’s results, the Bees improved to 19-23 while the Chihuahuas fell to 20-23.

Salt Lake can secure the series win with a victory Saturday. Opening pitch is slated for 6:35 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square.
