SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Jose Siri homered and the Salt Lake Bees surged past Sacramento 18-8 Friday at The Ballpark at America First Square.

Samy Natera Jr. posted three strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.

Bryce Eldridge and Grant McCray drove in two runs apiece in the loss for the River Cats.

Following Friday’s results, the Bees improved to 13-18 and the River Cats fell to 16-13.

Salt Lake can achieve at least a series split with a win Saturday.

Opening pitch is slated for 6:35 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square.
