SUGAR LAND, Texas-Trey Cabbage homered and the Salt Lake Bees blanked the Sugar Land Space Cowboys 6-0 Saturday evening at Constellation Field.

Kenny Rosenberg posted six strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.

Rosenberg improved to 2-3 on the season with the victory.

Salt Lake improved to 22-28 on the season while the Space Cowboys slumped to 21-28.

The Bees and Space Cowboys meet again Sunday at 5:05 pm to conclude the series. With a win, Salt Lake will obtain a series split while Sugar Land seeks to win the series in the finale at Constellation Field.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Juan Teixeira and Dakota Conners drove in three runs apiece and the Ogden Raptors routed Grand Junction 13-5 Saturday at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League play. Riley Ottesen posted three strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Ogden. Jacob Cruce and Kokko Figueiredo homered in the loss for the Jackalopes. Ogden improved to 4-1 on the season while Grand Junction fell to 1-4. The Raptors and Jackalopes conclude the series Sunday at 2:05 pm at Lindquist Field.
