SALT LAKE CITY-Michael Stefanic and Jake Lamb recorded key RBI singles in the 3rd Inning and the Salt Lake Bees doubled up Round Rock 2-1 Saturday at Smith’s Ballpark.

Jhonathan Diaz posted two strikeouts in 2.2 innings of work for the Bees to earn the win on the mound. Diaz is 4-0 on the season for Salt Lake.

Blaine Crim’s RBI single led the Express in defeat.

The Bees improved to 29-33 on the season while Round Rock fell to 35-27.

The Express goes for the series win Sunday while the Bees seek to salvage a split against Round Rock.

Opening pitch is slated for 1:05 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Rafael Narea and Brian Dansereau each homered as the Ogden Raptors routed Idaho Falls 10-2 Saturday at Lindquist Field.

Pablo Aravelo posted seven strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Raptors.

Cordell (CJ) Dunn drove in both runs in the loss for the Chukars.

Ogden improved to 10-7 on the season while Idaho Falls fell to 7-10.

The Raptors and Chukars conclude the series Sunday at 2:00 pm at Lindquist Field.
