ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.-Zach Neto homered and the Salt Lake Bees secured a series split with Albuquerque in prevailing 9-8 over the Isotopes at Isotopes Park Sunday. Touki Tossaint posted a strikeout in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Salt Lake. Yanquiel Fernandez homered in the loss for the Isotopes.
Salt Lake, at 4-5 on the season, plays its home opener at The Ballpark At America First Square of South Jordan Tuesday at 6:35 pm to start a six-game series against the Reno Aces.
This is the Bees’ first game on the west side of Salt Lake County as they previously played at Smith’s Ballpark of Salt Lake City.
