LAS VEGAS-Zack Gelof drove in three runs and the Salt Lake Bees smoked Las Vegas 6-1 Sunday at Las Vegas Ballpark to complete a Pacific Coast League sweep to start the season.
Mason Barnett netted four strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Aviators.
Denzer Guzman homered in the loss for the Bees.
Following this three-game series to start the season, the Aviators are 3-0 and the Bees are 0-3.
Salt Lake seeks its first win of the season in Tuesday’s home opener against the Sacramento River Cats at 6:35 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square.
