SALT LAKE CITY-Max Schuemann homered and the Las Vegas Aviators downed Salt Lake 11-8 Tuesday at Smith’s Ballpark.

Chase Cohen posted a strikeout in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for Las Vegas. Cohen improved to 4-0 on the season.

Kevin Padlo homered in the loss for the Bees as Salt Lake fell to 44-46. Conversely, the Aviators improved to 44-46.

Salt Lake and Las Vegas meet again Wednesday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark as the series resumes.

Pioneer League

MISSOULA, Mont.-Austin Bernard homered and the Missoula PaddleHeads outlasted Ogden 8-7 in the knockout round Tuesday at Ogren Park at Allegiace Field.

Izzy Fuentes posted two strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Missoula. Reese Alexiades and Logan Williams each went yard in defeat for the Raptors.

The PaddleHeads and Raptors return to action Wednesday at 7:05 pm at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field.
