LAS VEGAS-Joey Meneses, Junior Perez and Henry Bolte homered and the Las Vegas Aviators stormed past Salt Lake 19-9 Friday at Las Vegas Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Geoff Hartlieb posted two strikeouts in 1.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Las Vegas.
Donovan Walton and Denzer Guzman homered in the loss for the Bees.
Following Friday’s game, the Aviators improved to 12-11, securing their first win of the series. The Bees fell to 11-14 in the loss.
Salt Lake can still secure the series win with a victory over the Aviators Saturday. Opening pitch is slated for 8:05 pm at Las Vegas Ballpark.
