SALT LAKE CITY-Logan Davidson drove in two runs and the Las Vegas Aviators downed the Salt Lake Bees 5-1 Saturday at Smith’s Ballpark.

Zack Godley posted six strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Aviators. Godley is 1-0 on the season for Las Vegas.

Livan Soto homered in the loss for the Bees, who fell to 46-48.

Las Vegas improved to 46-48 with the win and can secure the series win with a victory Sunday evening to conclude the series.

Opening pitch is slated for 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.

Pioneer League

MISSOULA, Mont.-Reese Alexiades, Juan Teixeira and Nick Ultsch all homered and the Ogden Raptors bested Missoula 9-7 Saturday at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field. Chase Stratton posted two strikeouts in four innings to earn the win on the mound for the Raptors. Keaton Greenwalt drove in two runs in the loss for the PaddleHeads. The Raptors and PaddleHeads return to action Sunday at 2:05 pm at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field.
