ST. GEORGE, Utah-Late Monday, the Pacific West Conference announced its 2017-18 Academic all-conference team and this list includes 148 Dixie State Trailblazers.
The Dixie State program boasting the most academic all-Pac West honorees is baseball, as 17 Trailblazers athletes obtained academic honors.
Student-athletes who achieve at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA and are eligible for participation or practice in their respective sports receive academic all Pac-West recognition.
This represents the last athletic season the Trailblazers will spend in the Pac-West conference as they will be moving to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in all sports. Presently, the Dixie State football team already belongs to this conference.
