COVID-19 TESTING UPDATE:
In light of the Utah Department of Health’s recent press release, we wanted to clarify a few things.
• The state press release talked about their rapid antigen tests giving false negative results. They were referring to test sites run by the state (such as TestUtah) and the type of rapid test they were using (GenBody) which is different from the rapid test we are using (BinaxNOW).
• BinaxNOW is still considered valid and we will continue using it for testing.
• We are still offering free rapid antigen and PCR testing at Wasatch County Health Department Mon-Fri from 8am-3:30pm.
• Test Utah will still be doing tests at the Event Center on Saturday, but will only do PCR tests for the time being.
