Wasatch County Voting Concerns Addressed

HEBER CITY, Utah-Tuesday, Primary Election Day occurs in Utah.

Reportedly, all concerns pertaining to voting machines in Wasatch County have been addressed.

Utah Lieutenant Governor Deidre Henderson and state director of elections Ryan Cowley said the font size on certain ballots in Wasatch County was too small.

Per comments from Cowley, “the machines [were] tested before being put out.” Cowley said the Wasatch County Clerk’s Office was attempting to put all the races on one screen so voters did not have to scroll through multiple screens.

Cowley reported only eight voters in Wasatch County used the ballot marking machine in question.

He then stated all of the voters in Wasatch County are “given three opportunities to verify their selection before the vote is cast.”

Cowley said voters in the county experienced some troubles per reports he had heard. However, in Wasatch County, Cowley said “in the end, they got to vote the way they wanted to vote.”
