WASATCH COUNTY, Utah-Per reports released Thursday, Mayflower Mountain Resort will be constructed near Jordanelle Reservoir.
Reportedly, this is the first “world-class” alpine village to be developed in North America since 1981.
Mayflower Mountain Resort will be built by Extell Development Company of New York City.
This resort is named after mining claims on-site and will be built on 5,600 acres near Deer Valley Resort and Park City Resort.
This resort will be part of a Military Installation Development Authority (MIDA) Project Area.
The main development of the property will be located off of Exit 8 of U.S. 40, about 35 miles away from the Salt Lake City International Airport.
Wasatch County approved this development plan in August 2018. The first lifts are scheduled to run for the 2024 season.
