Wasatch County Search and Rescue With Information on Missing Boy; Boy Has Been Found

Reports state that Thursday morning Wright’s father found him, spotting him in a field from a distance.

Per Summit County Sheriff Justin Martinez, Wright and his father shared a tearful embrace upon their reunion.

Thursday, Wasatch County Search and Rescue revealed information on a missing boy in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest.

Stratton Joshua Wright was hiking with family members west of Bear Lake in the Henry’s Fork drainage area of Bear Lake on Uinta-Wasatch-Cache land.

The 9-year-old Wright became separated as of July 1 at 9:00 pm and has not been seen since.

He was walking north of the last-known location.

Wright, who is 5-foot, Caucasian, blonde-haired with blue eyes and 82 pounds, was last seen wearing a light blue long-sleeved shirt or hoodie, jeans and Under Armour shoes.
