UVU Considering Campus Safety Measures

(Orem, UT) — Utah Valley University is reviewing its campus safety procedures following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk earlier this month. Kirk was shot while answering a question about mass shootings at a campus event. UVU officials say they are conducting an independent review of the circumstances surrounding his death. The university adds that the findings could help other campuses improve safety practices in the future.
