Utah Parents Can Apply For Free Or Reduced Price School Meals

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah parents can now apply for free or reduced price school meals. The Utah State Board of Education says the applications have been sent home to parents. Eligibility will be evaluated based on income and household size. Parents can apply at any time during the school year and if they were denied they can also appeal a ruling. Utah school officials have been urging families to apply so the state can solve school lunch debt.
