SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, the Utah Area presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints confirmed members and missionaries are to follow instructions concerning self-isolation and congregating at airports.
In a letter drafted on March 23, this presidency, Elders Craig C. Christensen, Randy D. Funk and Walter F. Gonzalez thanked local stake presidents for assisting these missionaries in returning to their homes and expressed “deep concern” about the vast multitudes at the Salt Lake City International Airport Sunday March 22.
The letter also provided further instruction for local Priesthood leaders concerning which missionaries should be considered for reassignment and which ones should be honorably released.
