(Salt Lake City, UT) — During Climate Week, Utah and five other states are launching their own Climate Action Corps. Utah, Arizona, California, Maryland, Minnesota, and North Carolina will join the first state-level program of its kind. It involves programs that empower climate action through volunteer and fellowship opportunities. The Climate Action Corps are funded through a public-private partnership between philanthropy and AmeriCorps.
