HEBER CITY, Utah-Thursday, the Uintah-Wasatch-Cache National Forest confirmed the Heber-Kamas Ranger District is hiring six full-time temporary forest technicians.
They will work full-time for 30-60-day critical hire appointments.
These positions pay $13.32 per hour with a duty station of either Heber City or Kamas.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and be U.S. citizens or nationals. They must each provide a resume demonstraing qualification.
Qualification consists of 6 months of general experience in such areas as performed farm/ranch labor (feeding and tending livestock or general maintenance of farm/ranch facilities), working in a greenhouse or nursery moving, watering and tending plants or performing other general tasks. This also may entail feeding or watering animals, such as in a laboratory, pet store or zoo. Any work experience in these spheres will suffice, either paid or unpaid. Unpaid experience, for example, can consist of regular volunteer work, such as at a park or community sports leagues.
