The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Releases Rendering For Davao Philippines Temple

DAVAO, Philippines-Tuesday, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released an exterior rendering showing the planned design for the Davao Philippines Temple.

This temple is to be constructed on a 2.7-acre site at Ma-a Road and Anahaw Road in Ma-a Davao City 8000.

This two-story structure will consist of approximately 18,450 square feet.

This site will include patron and temple presidency housing. A meetinghouse that currently exists on the site will be removed.

Detailed design plans for this temple are still underway. No groundbreaking date has been selected.

This temple was announced in October 2018 by Church president Russell M. Nelson.

There are presently two temples in the Philippines, located at Manila (1984) and Cebu City (2010).

Two more temples in the Philippines are currently under construction, at Alabang and Urdaneta.

Temples have also been announced for Cagayan de Oro and Bacolod.
