SALT LAKE CITY-The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints confirmed the reopening of two temples to Phase 1 Monday.
The temples located at Cordoba, Argentina and Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, will be reopened Monday August 3.
Phase 1 allows living husband-and-wife sealings by appointment.
With this news from the Salt Lake City-based faith Monday, this means 127 of the Church’s 161 temples that are currently operating will have been reopened, or just under 78.9 percent.
