SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced 12 temples worldwide would progress to Phase 1 of reopening as of June 15.
This includes the first temple to advance to this level in South America: the Curtiba Brazil Temple.
Others include the Detroit Michigan Temple, the Hartford Connecticut Temple, the Palmyra New York Temple, the Kona Hawaii Temple, the Laie Hawaii Temple, the Medford Oregon Temple, the Durban South Africa Temple, the Johannesburg South Africa Temple, the Nuku’alofa Tonga Temple and the Manila Philippines Temple.
