SALT LAKE CITY-Sunday, the Utah Department of Health released the daily statistics for COVID-19 cases in the Beehive State.
There are presently 2,303 positive tests for COVID-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 97 positive tests from Saturday. This is a drop-off from Friday-Saturday, which saw 104 positive tests occur in that span.
Furthermore, 44,234 Utahns have been tested for the coronavirus. The positive test percentage Sunday (5.2 percent) is a slight increase from the positive test percentage Saturday, 5.18 percent.
There are now 195 hospitalizations from COVID-19 in Utah, this is an increase of 5 from Friday-Saturday.
There are no new deaths in Utah from Saturday-Sunday as deaths from the disease remain at 18.
The Utah coronavirus task force will reconvene at the Utah State Capitol Building Monday to further address the media, including the results detailed from Sunday-Monday.
