SALT LAKE CITY-In comments shared late Wednesday, Utah lieutenant governor Spencer Cox confirmed increased testing is the way the Beehive State, and the nation at large, can most effectively combat the spread of COVID-19.
With more than 300 cases of coronavirus in Utah and one death having occurred already, Cox believes that social distancing works effectively but more tests are the real key to stopping its spread.
Cox referred to this worldwide pandemic as “unprecedented” and said the slow reaction to its emergence in the U.S. made it difficult to combat its growth.
Medical experts believe the most difficult days in stifling COVID-19 are still ahead of us.
