SALT LAKE CITY-Saturday, covid-19 statistics were updated by the Utah Department of Health.

There have been 84,644 recorded cases of covid-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 1,354 in the past 24 hours.

912,894 Utahns have been tested for covid-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 11,846 in the past 24 hours.

There have been 62,401 recoveries from covid-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 1,075 in the past 24 hours.

The recovery percentage increased to 73.7 percent from Friday’s 73.6 percent.

There are 21,733 active cases of covid-19 in Utah per Saturday’s report. This is an increase of 274 but the percentage dropped to 25.7 percent from Friday’s 25.8 percent.

There are 40,668 more recoveries than active cases in Utah. This is a net increase of 801 in the past 24 hours.

There have been 4,275 recorded hospitalizations for covid-19 in Utah. Of these, 231 are currently hospitalized or 5.4 percent.

Of these, 89 are in ICU or 38.5 percent. ICU is 70 percent occupied in Utah per Saturday’s report.

There have been five new deaths attributed to covid-19 in the past 24 hours in Utah, raising the total to 510.
