PROVO CANYON, Wednesday, UDOT reported Provo Canyon was closed because of a crash involving a semi with two trailers.

Sergeant Cameron Roden of the Utah Highway Patrol reported the semi, which was hauling hay, was traveling eastbound on US 189 at milepost 8 when it was overturned, along with the trailers.

Presently, University Avenue headed northbound into Provo Canyon, is closed. The ramp from 800 North in Orem is open.

Roden reported the driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
