SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Traffic on a 2-mile (3-kilometer) segment of Interstate 15 in Lehi will be rerouted overnight Wednesday and Thursday nights for bridge construction that’s part of a freeway widening project.
The Utah Department of Transportation says southbound I-15 will be closed Wednesday night between 2100 North and Lehi Main Street and that northbound I-15 will be closed Thursday night in the same area.
The closures are scheduled to run from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. and UDOT says traffic will be detoured off I-15 and detoured around the closure area on local streets during those periods.
UDOT advises drivers to consider using alternate routes or changing their schedules.
