SALT LAKE CITY-Saturday, it was confirmed that one patient at a Salt Lake City nursing facility has died of COVID-19.
Three more have been hospitalized and two staff members tested positive.
Utah Department of Health officials confirmed that this occurred Thursday. The victim was 85 years old.
Six of seven symptomatic people have tested positive for coronavirus.
The name of the care facility was not released.
Health officials called this the first case in the state of disease transmission within a care facility.
