SALT LAKE CITY-As the June primary elections await later this month, voters in the Heber Valley will be able to use new accessible voting machines.
This is because these systems will be available in 19 counties in Utah, including Wasatch County.
These systems consist of audio capability that can read the ballot to the voter. Additionally, a voter can increase the font size and contrast of the print to make it easier to read.
If you missed the deadline to mail in your registration, you can still vote but you must register by June 19 on www.vote.utah.gov or at your county clerk’s office.
