New General Authority Seventy Called By The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

SALT LAKE CITY-Tuesday morning, The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints called Alexander Dushku as a General Authority Seventy.

He will be sustained at the October 2023 General Conference of the Church at the Conference Center of the Church at Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake City.

Elder Dushku received a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Brigham Young University in 1990 and a Juris Doctor degree from Brigham Young University Law School in 1993.

He has been an attorney for Kirton McConkie of Salt Lake City since 1996.

Elder Dushku has previously served as a full-time missionary in the Portugal Lisbon Mission and as an elders quorum president, a bishopric counselor, a stake high councilor, a bishop and a stake president.

Elder Dushku was born November 17, 1966 and married Jennifer Burnham in 1998. They are the parents of eight children.
