SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.
67.7 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (105,481-155,779) are recovered.
31.8 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (49,575-155,779) are active cases.
The new recoveries (1,164) in the past 24 hours exceeded the new active cases (802) in the same span Monday.
There are 55,906 more recoveries than active cases in Utah.
Of the 6,859 all-time hospitalizations in Utah for covid-19, 503 are currently hospitalized or 7.33 percent.
Of the 503, 198 are in ICU or 39.4 percent of ICU occupancy.
84.3 percent of ICU beds are currently occupied in Utah and 87.7 percent of ICU referral center beds.
There have been 723 deaths attributed to covid-19 in Utah or 0.464 percent of all-time covid-19 cases.
Wasatch County had 1,627 all-time covid-19 cases, per Monday’s report. This also includes 51 all-time covid-19 hospitalizations and 10 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
