SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, the Utah State Department of Health updated covid-19 statistics as is customary daily at 1:00 pm.

70.4 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (94,929-134,868) are recovered.

29.12 percent of covid-19 cases (39,278-94,929) are active cases.

New recoveries (1,166) exceeded new active cases (1,079) in Utah for the first time since Friday.

There are 55,651 more recoveries than active cases in Utah.

Of the 6,162 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19 in Utah, 444 are currently hospitalized or 7.205 percent.

Of the 444, 185 are in ICU, or 41.7 percent of ICU occupancy. 74.7 percent of ICU is occupied statewide.

661 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 in Utah. This decreased the death percentage to 0.4901 percent.

Wasatch County currently has 1,401 all-time covid-19 cases, 47 all-time hospitalizations and 9 net deaths.
