SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, the latest statistics for covid-19 in Utah were updated by the state department of health.

Since statistics began being kept, there have been 46,894 recorded cases of covid-19 in Utah.

This is an increase of 242 in the past 24 hours and a net decrease of 89 in the same span.

Presently, 601,975 Utahns have been tested for covid-19.

This is an increase of 3,268 in the past 24 hours.

The current positive test percentage stabilized in Utah, staying at 7.79 percent Monday as it had been on Sunday.

The 24-hour positive test percentage slumped to 7.40 percent Monday. Sunday, this figure was at 9.13 percent.

There have been 38,132 recoveries from covid-19 in Utah per Monday’s report. This is an increase of 431 recoveries in the past 24 hours and a net increase of 76 recoveries in the same span.

Presently, in Utah, 81.31 percent of all covid-19 cases in the state are recovered. Sunday, 80.81 percent of all covid-19 cases in Utah were recovered.

Wasatch County saw two new cases of covid-19 recorded in the past 24 hours, raising the total to 600.

The hospitalizations increased by one to 24 in the past 24 hours.

The deaths attributed to covid-19 in Wasatch County remained unchanged in the past 24 hours, staying at four.

The most recent death attributed to covid-19 in Wasatch County occurred July 6.
