PROVO, Utah-Tuesday, a man was arrested after police said he threatened to infect fast food employees with COVID-19
The 21-year-old, who is listed in court documents, is homeless and was arrested for commercial obstruction.
The man went into a McDonald’s, located at 211 W. Cougar Boulevard in Provo, harassed employees and refused to leave.
The man said he was just joking and then ordered food. When he was asked to pay, he said he did not want any of the food.
The employee said the man was refusing to leave the store and repeatedly told the employee that he did not like her attitude and she had better change it, per the police affidavit.
He was also reportedly seen talking to himself and was charged with four separate cases.
Since February, the man has been charged in four separate cases, including three cases in the past week in Salt Lake Justice Court, per court documents.
Tuesday, he was charged with shoplifting, following trespassing charges on Monday as well as criminal mischief charges on April 7.
February 27, he was convicted for DUI in Carbon County Justice Court.
