Eleven years ago, MIRO Industries President Nate Sargent saw a need to bring the simple nativity back into the holiday celebrations of the community. Along with his business partner, Keene Winn, MIRO Industries and Rooftop Anchors and their employees have gathered together to bring the scene of that first Christmas night, dressed as Mary & Joseph, with angels and shepherds and wise men combined with wonderful music, costumes, and animals to represent the nativity story as told in the Bible. Wasatch County Event Center became a partner in the event, as the inside arena offered protection from winter weather, and seating for the community. This wonderful nativity is now a staple in the Christmas Celebrations in the Heber Valley. You can enjoy the 11th annual Live Nativity Christmas Celebration at the Wasatch County Event Center at 6 pm or 7:30 pm on Wednesday, December 18th. This community event is free to the public. The Sargents are currently serving over a mission in Korea, his vision to share the true meaning of Christmas will continue this holiday season.
