Heber Valley Hospitals Named National Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals

Heber Valley Hospital has been named as a Top 100 Access Hospital in America for 2024 by the Chartis Center for Rural Health. In a press release it was shared “the annual top access hospitals list by Chartis uses a variety of data to assess the strength of critical access hospitals including quality, outcomes, cost, and patient perspective among other factors.” Critical Access Hospital is a designation given by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which is designed to reduce the financial vulnerability of rural hospitals and improve access to healthcare by keeping essential services in rural communities. Heber Valley Hospital is one of only three Utah hospitals selected on this year’s list.
