UINTA-WASATCH-CACHE NATIONAL FOREST, Utah-As of 9:09 am Friday morning, the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest confirmed that Christmas tree permits have been sold out on the Heber-Kamas District of the forest.
The forest confirms there are plenty of Christmas tree permits on the Evanston and Mountain View districts of Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest land, each of which are located on Wyoming’s portion of the forest.
In these district, Christmas trees are $15. Only one tree per household is permitted and permits will only be sold to those who are 18 or older.
No tree cutting is permitted within a 2-mile radius of the junction of FS Road #058 (North Slope Road) and Wyoming 150.
Furthermore, no cutting is permitted in the Lily Lake Cross-Country Ski Area.
