HEBER CITY, Utah-The Heber City Corporation, per news released this week, will conduct a meet and greet for community members to get to know candidates vying for the position of Chief of Police in the city August 22 at Heber Valley Elementary School, 730 S. 600 West, Heber City.
The purpose of the event is to replace current Chief of Police, Dave Booth, who is retiring September 30.
Residents who attend may ask questions and submit feedback to Mayor Franco at Heidi Franco at hfranco@hebercity.gov concerning the candidates’ short presentations and qualifications.
Franco will nominate a new Chief of Police to the City Council next month.
All Heber City residents are welcome to attend Booth’s retirement party.
