HEBER CITY, Utah-Tuesday, the Heber City Council will conduct a work meeting at 4:00 pm followed by a regular meeting at 6:00 pm.
The work meeting will feature a Main Street Success Recommendation by Roger Brooks. Ordinance 2023-26, an update to the engineering standard specifications and drawings and the storm weather manual will be provided by engineer Gordon Miner.
The regular meeting will consist of the following:
- Call To Order
- Pledge of Allegiance (by councilmember Mike Johnston)
- Prayer/Thought by invitation from councilmember Rachel Kahler)
There will be a conflict of interest disclosure
This will be followed by the approval of city council minutes (July 18 and August 1) by city recorder Trina Cooke
This will be followed by resolution 2023-12 amending the Airport Advisory Board (AAB) Bylaws will be given by city attorney Jeremy Cook
This will be followed by the formal approval of and authorization of staff to negotiate and enter into an agreement with Maddox Construction of West Jordan for an amount consistent with their bid response to Heber City as well as for the bell tower renovation. This will also be to negotiate a contract amendment with FFKR.
There will be a public comments period (3 minutes per person/20 minutes maximum)
Miner will then give his 4:00 pm meeting presentation and Community Development Director Tony Kohler will speak concerning Ordinance 2023-22, adopting the Envision Central Heber Vision.
The meeting is to adjourn at 6:55 pm.
