SALT LAKE CITY-Friday, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints confirmed Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of The Quorum of Twelve Apostles has been released from the hospital.
Elder Holland had been hospitalized for brief observation and has since been released.
He is returning to his normal activities while he and his family appreciate the prayers and concerns on his behalf.
The St. George, Utah native was called as a new Apostle for the Salt Lake City-based faith June 23, 1994 under the presidency of Church President Howard W. Hunter.
Elder Holland will turn 80 this upcoming December.
