SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, Elder D. Todd Christofferson of The Quorum of Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints served as grand marshal of the annual Days of ’47 Parade in Salt Lake City to celebrate Pioneer Day.

Elder Christofferson was joined by his wife, Kathy.

Last year, former Relief Society general president Jean B. Bingham served as the grand marshal of the parade. Sister Bingham was the first female grand marshal in the parade’s history.
