Dieter F. Uchtdorf Named Acting President of LDS Quorum of the Twelve

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Dieter F. Uchtdorf has been called to serve as Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Church announced the appointment yesterday, and Uchtdorf was set apart by Church President Dallin H. Oaks. The move follows the death of President Jeffrey R. Holland on December 27th.
