BRIGHAM CITY, Utah-Per news from the Box Elder Chamber of Commerce and Brigham City Corporation, Peach Days 2020 has been canceled.
This was slated for September 9-12 in Brigham City.
This decision comes as Box Elder County officials work to limit mass gatherings in order to prevent further spread of COVID-19.
Currently, the Bear River Health Department jurisdiction (consisting primarily of Brigham City, Logan, Tremonton and surrounding communities) has had 1,556 of the state’s 23,270 COVID-19 cases. This reflects 0.06686 percent of all COVID-19 cases in the Beehive State since statistics have been kept.
Because the Bear River Health Department does not record recovery rates on its Web site, as well as current hospitalizations, it is unknown how the health district is currently doing.
Peach Days traditionally draws residents of northern Utah and southern Idaho.
