SALT LAKE CITY-Per Thursday news, ahead of this weekend’s semiannual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 61 new general authorities were called by The First Presidency of the Salt Lake City-based faith.

This was done following the Church of Jesus Christ’s General Conference leadership session.

Another 50 Area Seventies will be released on or before August 1, 2023.
