Wasatch High Football Pounds Highland; Faces Salem Hills Next

SALT LAKE CITY-Ammon Tuttle had a 1-yard touchdown run and nailed a 26-yard field goal as the Wasatch Wasps smacked Highland 30-13 Friday in the second round of the 5-A state football playoffs. Zak Thacker and Parker Quinton each added touchdown runs for the Wasps, while Hayden Stocking had a 50-yard fumble return for a score for Wasatch as well in the rout. The 8-4 Wasps next visit Salem Hills, their Region 8 rival Friday at 4:00 pm in the 5-A state quarterfinals. Ty & Ty will have their pregame show at 3:30 pm prior to that game.
