WASHINGTON-Thursday, Wasatch High School football star offensive/defensive lineman Braxton Turner confirmed he will be playing college football at the NCAA FCS level next season for the Georgetown Hoyas.

The 6-2 282-pound Turner, in playing both ways for the Wasps, has 20 career tackles and four career sacks headed into his senior campaign.
Turner and his Wasps teammates commence their season August 14 at Wright-Tree Stadium against the Park City Miners.
Turner will join a Hoyas squad that went 5-6 last season and will compete in the spring as a member of the Patriot League at the NCAA FCS level.
The Hoyas’ coach, Rob Sgarlata, is 21-45 (.318) entering his seventh season at the helm of the program.
